Robert Half Financial Services are hiring for a Fixed Income Trade Operations role for a global Asset Manager located in midtown Manhattan New York. Our client requires 3+ years Fixed Income Trade Operations, Trade Support or Middle Office experience within Asset Management, a Hedge Fund, Investment Bank or Fund Administrator. The Fixed Income Trade Operations team is focused on managing trade capture, settlement and lifecycle events primarily for the Credit Trading team. The role requires 4 days per week in the midtown Manhattan office.

Responsibilities:

• Liaise with prime brokers, custodians, and executing brokers to ensure proper settlement of Bonds, ABS, CDS, FX, Repos and Equities.
• Booking of non-exchange traded products.
• Coordinate with third-party administrator to ensure transactions are accurately captured by them on a timely basis.
• Review daily cash and position reconciliations; research discrepancies and determine course of action for resolution.
• Interface with Investment Professionals, Middle Office, Accounting, Treasury and Tax.
• Set up securities and maintain data in a security master.
• Participate in projects and initiatives to drive efficiency.

Qualifications:

• 3+ years Fixed Income Trade Operations, Trade Support or Middle Office experience within Asset Management, a Hedge Fund, Investment Bank or Fund Administrator
• Experience of trade capture, settlement and lifecycle events
• Knowledge of Fixed Income, Bank Debt, Bonds, ABS, CDS, Repos
• Bloomberg, Advent Geneva, CTM, MarkitWire, ICE, or ClearPar system experience is advantageous
• Strong Excel skills requires. Coding in Tableau/Sigma/Python/SQL is advantageous
• Bachelor Degree
