We’re hiring a Video Producer to lead the charge on a fast-growing YouTube channel focused on telling fascinating stories about people, companies, and the internet economy. This role offers the chance to produce YouTube content that blends education and entertainment, with ownership across concept development, production, and delivery. Working closely with content strategists and industry experts, you'll gain firsthand experience at the intersection of YouTube and business. This is a full-time, hybrid role based in Boston. Our client is open to New York-based candidates willing to travel to Boston a few times a month. What You’ll Do Lead the production of YouTube content from ideation through post-production Own the pre-production process: pitch stories, write scripts, scout locations, prep shoots Direct and capture shoots (often as a solo producer-shooter) Work with editors to shape footage into high-performing YouTube videos Collaborate with internal stakeholders and strategists to align creative with channel goals Manage production timelines and deliverables with autonomy and accountability Stay on top of YouTube trends and optimize storytelling accordingly What We’re Looking For 5+ years of experience producing video content end-to-end, with a strong portfolio A love for business, big ideas, and turning technical topics into engaging stories Organized, proactive, and self-directed — you thrive owning your projects Strong storytelling instincts and on-set leadership Experience shooting content (bonus if you're familiar with Sony FX3/FX6 or similar) Must be based in Boston, NYC, or open to relocating Nice to Have Background in YouTube, doc-style storytelling, or editorial video production Experience working with remote editors or managing small production teams Comfort directing talent on camera What’s Offered Competitive salary + generous bonus structure Healthcare and 401k All necessary gear provided, with flexibility to request more Mentorship from YouTube and digital strategy veterans Opportunity to shape a breakout channel and grow with a mission-driven team #J-18808-Ljbffr Snowball
