Description The Video Producer conceptualizes, produces, shoots, and edits compelling stories and engaging visual experiences with a primary focus of supporting our various business verticals across multiple platforms. This position specializes in detail-oriented organization and will primarily lead business/external content projects. The role collaborates closely with various stakeholders to understand project goals, ensuring each production meets the organizations’ creative vision and strategic objectives. This individual will play a key role in the execution of various video projects, enhancing gamedays, covering team events, and other team-related activities. Requirements Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties, responsibilities, and activities may change or be assigned at any time with or without notice. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Develop, shoot, edit video content for distribution on all Seattle Storm platforms including digital, broadcast and arena while taking ownership and responsibility over projects. Lead and assist in the production of key video projects throughout the season. Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including marketing, communications, digital, partnerships, community, and media partners, to deliver creative solutions that meet their objectives and expectations. Seek out details of production requests and ensure communication between other departments is reflected in project plans. Develop working relationships that demonstrate trust to help elevate the Seattle Storm and individual brands. Work all Storm home games, while capturing the gameday experience of our players and fans at Climate Pledge Arena. Attend youth clinics and community and partnership events for content capture as needed. Collaborate with the entire marketing team to build revenue generation ideas on campaigns and how video elements will help elevate them. Showcase the ability and discipline to log and archive video content and broadcast footage throughout the season in a timely manner. Additional Responsibilities include the following. Extensive knowledge of wired and wireless audio gathering. Expert knowledge of situational lighting for interviews, green screens, etc. Maintain video production gear and advise on best practices of new equipment. Help manage the production studio space for internal interviews and content creation. Develop and use motion design elements to elevate video assets. Additional duties may be assigned. Education: Bachelor’s Related experience: 2-3+ years’ experience in video production with a fast-paced sports organization or similar industry Strong knowledge of Adobe Cloud suite, specifically Premiere, After Effects, Lightroom, etc.

Flexible and adaptable work schedule for changing business demands including working most weekends during the season (May – Oct). Technical Skills: To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of and proven experience shooting with Sony mirrorless camera and using advanced production equipment. Knowledge of camera, lighting, sound and editing. Understanding of online video environment and online distribution. Demonstrated ability to perform repairs on a wide variety of audio, visual and computer equipment. Ability to adapt equipment setup and provide alternative setup or workarounds if necessary. Physical Demands: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. The employee is regularly required to stand for long periods of time; walk; carry and operate camera rigs. Occasionally required to sit, stoop, kneel, squat, crouch, or crawl.
