Description:
Explain procedures to patients, position them correctly, and ensure their comfort and safety during imaging.
Operate X-ray equipment to capture images of specific areas of the patient's body as ordered by a physician.
Contributes professional nursing knowledge and skills in the provision and management of care to patients through the application of the nursing process.
Qualifications:
Education:
Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
Certification Requirements:
ARRT
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
State License Requirements:
Illinois
Additional License Requirements:
IA rad tech license can pend at start
Experience:
2+ years of current X-Ray experience (won't be working in OR).
