Job Description Schedule Information : Will determine schedule based on student's availability. Must have some availability to work during the following hours: Sunday Monday 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. Tuesday 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. Wednesday 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. Thursday 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. Friday 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. Saturday Maximum hours per week : 20 Responsibilities Duties of Position : Answering departmental phone and email communications; taking and distributing messages to Continuing Professional Education staff. Providing accurate and appropriate program information as needed. Assist in outreach opportunities such as call campaigns and tabling events. Assist Continuing Professional Education staff with clerical projects. Conduct basic research online. Other duties as assigned. Ideal Candidate Characteristics : Detail Oriented Flexible Responsive Effective communication skills Enthusiastic Qualifications Education Requirements : You must be a current Harper College student, enrolled in at least six (6) credits per fall and spring semester (three (3) for summer). Experience Requirements : Basic keyboarding skills, working knowledge of word processor, spreadsheet, and presentation software, Microsoft Office Suite a plus.
