Role Overview:
Putting the customer at the heart of everything that you do, you will commercially manage your store to maximise profitability through the retail plan; driving sales, managing costs, and delivering our brand through the visual proposition. Creating a fun and inspiring atmosphere in line with our brand and culture, you must support the development of the team, whilst ensuring the highest standards are maintained throughout the store according to company guidelines.
Role Responsibilities
• Drives a service culture through experiences that are engaging, efficient and personalized; interprets customer feedback and team insights to positively improve their experience
• Leading, inspiring and demonstrating exceptional standards of behaviour to your Team while ensuring the integrity of the brand is always maintained
• Facilitates a thorough and thoughtful onboarding process for new hires and fosters an environment of continual development; provides timely and specific employee feedback to create a culture of action and accountability
• Drives succession in store by recruiting, hiring, and retaining a diverse and engaged team, while taking responsibility for own development and professional growth
• Maximise store profit through proactive analysis of available commercial data, understanding of the retail and company strategy, use of local/industry knowledge and commercial creativity to maximise sales opportunities
• Stays current and follows through to ensure important company information reaches all levels of the team; facilitates the sharing of product knowledge, best sellers, department priorities, and brand messaging throughout the day with the Team
• To ensure that the costs are managed efficiently, through long term planned scheduling, absence management and individual productivity
• Collaborate with key partners in Head Office to influence and maximise the stock package and other resources (where appropriate)
• To abide by and ensure correct policies & procedures are adhered to in a professional manner for your Team and store including cash and stock, health and safety, office, security of premises and loss prevention
• To oversee and execute the FatFace visual proposition to company standards including leading sale/new season launches and floor moves
• In collaboration with the Store Manager, take on responsibilities that ensure the continued success of your store in sales, standards and Crew development.
Skills and Experience
• 3+ years of previous management experience within a fashion retail store
• Demonstrable experience of working with KPIs with the effective analysis and interpretation of commercial reports to support decision making
• Management level experience of operational, stock, IT and cash management
• Experience of leading, coaching and managing teams through strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Strong planning and organisational background
• Ambition and determination to succeed, taking the initiative and working under own direction
• Ability to work productively in a high-pressure environment
• IT literate
