We are currently hiring vigilant and professional  Security Guards for an upcoming event. This role is critical in maintaining a safe and secure environment for guests, staff, and vendors. The ideal candidate will have a strong presence, quick decision-making abilities, and a commitment to enforcing safety protocols and policies throughout the event.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct regular patrols and monitor surveillance systems (CCTV) to detect and prevent potential threats.
• Identify and respond swiftly to any suspicious behavior, emergencies, or security breaches.
• Enforce event rules, access control, and crowd management procedures.
• Maintain a professional demeanor while managing conflict or disruptive behavior.
• Liaise with event organizers and law enforcement if needed.
• Provide support and guidance to attendees and staff, ensuring a welcoming but secure environment.
• Document and report all incidents, observations, and actions taken during the event.

Requirements & Skills

• Use of Force Certification –  Mandatory.
• Experience in security, loss prevention, or law enforcement is an asset.
• Strong knowledge of safety protocols and emergency response.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to stay alert, focused, and composed in high-pressure situations.
• Must be reliable, punctual, and professional in appearance and behavior.
• Flexible availability during event dates and hours.

Pay: $20.00-$21.00 per hour

Flexible language requirement:

• French not required

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday
• Weekends as needed

Licence/Certification:

• use of force certification (required)
• CPR Certification (required)
• Security Guard Licence (required)
