We are seeking a
Quality Engineer to drive automated testing for
Aerospike products , with a particular focus on
Graph databases . In this role, you will develop automated tests, enhance testing infrastructure, and ensure the
high quality and reliability of our releases.
As a
Quality Engineer , you will play a critical role in the
development and release cycle , ensuring that each new version of the
database, clients, tools, and connectors meets performance and reliability standards. This role requires
Python development for automation,
Docker-based infrastructure written in Go, and exposure to
Graph database technologies such as
Gremlin and
Spark .
What You'll Do - Design, develop, and implement automated testing for Aerospike software.
- Deploy and execute client/server clusters of Aerospike applications using automated methods.
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of testing infrastructure.
- Collaborate with software engineers to diagnose, analyze, and reproduce issues.
- Analyze complex infrastructure architecture , designing strategies to implement, deploy, and maintain these systems.
- Monitor and troubleshoot infrastructure issues , working alongside software engineers to resolve them.
Qualifications - Experience: 1-3 years experience.
- Proficiency in Python for scripting and automation.
- Experience working in GNU/Linux environments .
- Strong understanding of software testing processes and methodologies.
- Knowledge of operating system concepts, database fundamentals, networking, and distributed systems .
- A problem-solving mindset with creativity and flexibility.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field .
Nice to Have - Programming experience in Go, Java, C, or C# .
- Experience with automation tools such as GitHub Actions, Ansible, or Terraform .
- Familiarity with virtualization, containerization (Docker/Kubernetes), and cloud-based infrastructure .
- Experience in developing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines .
- Exposure to SQL RDBMS and NoSQL databases .
- Hands-on experience with Spark and Kubernetes .
