Assists the production line where needed including, but not limited to, machine operation, quality verification, packaging, housekeeping & forklift operation. Essential Duties include time management and communication skills, inspecting and installing film rolls & making film splices according to standard operating procedure, assisting in web breaks, lacing machine and product changes, troubleshooting/diagnosing machine issues and taking corrective action with guidance of the Group Lead, maintaining work area in neat and orderly condition per housekeeping procedures for the department, operating forklift in a safe and efficient manner, operating packaging equipment and installing packaging materials in compliance with standard operating procedures, completing product testing in accordance with product specification, and performing other duties as assigned. Qualifications required include H.S. Diploma or GED or equivalent, ability to perform each essential duty satisfactorily, demonstrated understanding of processes, equipment, and product specifications, and ability to work in the U.S. without current/future need for GAF visa sponsorship. Physical demands and working conditions are described with various levels of exertion and environmental factors.
