Job Summary
The Nightlife - Bars & Lounge General Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of cocktail service and lounge operations. This includes setting policies, procedures, and guest service standards to achieve high customer satisfaction and ensure operational excellence. The position is tasked with leading a profitable, efficient, and quality-oriented bar and lounge operation, ensuring both innovation and consistency across venues.
Education & Experience
• Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Hospitality Management, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 4 years of supervisory or managerial experience in a high-volume beverage and hospitality setting.
• Demonstrated knowledge of cocktail operations, trends, and beverage management, including familiarity with health and safety regulations and liquor laws.
• At least 2-3 years of experience coordinating and overseeing entertainment events in a bar, nightclub, or hospitality setting.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and operational management software.
• Strong understanding of budgeting, financial accountability, and cost control strategies.
• Fluency in both Spanish and English, with strong verbal and written communication skills.

• Willingness to work long hours, including nights and weekends, and adapt to dynamic work environments.
• Knowledge of F&B preparation techniques, health department rules, and liquor laws and regulations.
Physical Requirements
• Ability to stand for extended hours.
• The ability to work through long shifts, including late-night hours and/or weekends.
• Ability to work effectively in a loud, crowded setting.
• Medium work - Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 20 pounds of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects.
