As an Authorized Kohler Generator Servicing Dealer, we are looking for a certified professional who specializes in the installation, maintenance, and repair of Kohler generators for residential, commercial, and light industrial applications. Key Responsibilities: - Install, service, maintain, and repair Kohler generators for residential, commercial, and industrial clients.
- Perform diagnostics and troubleshooting on generator systems to ensure peak performance.
- Conduct preventative maintenance to minimize downtime and extend the life of generator systems.
- Respond to emergency service calls and resolve generator issues efficiently.
- Interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals related to generator systems.
- Ensure compliance with manufacturer specifications, electrical codes, and safety regulations.
- Provide exceptional customer service, explaining system operations and maintenance requirements to clients.
- Maintain accurate service records and reports for completed work.
- Collaborate with apprentices, electricians, and project managers to complete generator installations and repairs.
- Stay current with industry advancements and manufacturer training to maintain Kohler certification.
Qualifications: - Kohler certified/credentialed technician (required).
- Extensive experience in generator installation, maintenance, and repair, specifically with Kohler generator systems.
- Strong knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems related to generator operation.
- Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot complex generator issues independently.
- Familiarity with automatic transfer switches (ATS), load testing, and fuel systems.
- Strong commitment to safety and adherence to electrical codes.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Valid driver's license with an insurable driving record.
