The Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) team is seeking a Mid-Level Systems Engineer located in Berkeley, MO.

 

As a member of the team, you will support the F-15EX Program. We will look for you to apply an interdisciplinary, collaborative approach to assist with analyses, design, development and verification of a lifecycle balanced system of systems and system solutions.

Additional responsibilities include assisting with analyses to evaluates customer/operational needs to define system performance requirements, integrate technical parameters and assure compatibility of all physical, functional and program interfaces. Drive various analyses to optimize total system of systems and/or system architecture. Lastly, you’ll use your skills to analyze for affordability, safety, reliability, maintainability, testability, human systems integration, survivability, vulnerability, susceptibility, system security, regulatory, certification, product assurance and other specialties quality factors into a preferred configuration to ensure mission success.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Coordinates and leads System Engineering Technical Reviews of F-15EX development programs
  • Provides support to the systems engineering team through assisting in the development of program/project requirements, performing analyses, and coordinating across teams
  • Assists Program Management with execution of the Program and the various tasks required
  • Prepares data for management review for tracking performance to plan
  • Conducts research and analyzes data from multiple sources to develop meaningful metrics
  • Develops, coordinates, and facilitates architecture of meeting content and leadership briefings
  • Presents informational and/or technical materials in briefing format
  • Maintains configuration control of all meeting materials and meeting minutes
  • Monitors and tracks execution of the tasks planned and communicates status to all project participants

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

This position requires the ability to obtain a US Security Clearance for which the US Government requires US Citizenship as a condition of employment.

  • An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science.
  • 5+ years of work-related experience with a Bachelors degree OR 3+ years of work-related experience with a Masters degree

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Experience communicating with senior leaders and customers
  • Experience in project management
  • Experience as a control account manager
  • Experience in classical systems engineering

Typical Education/ Experience:

Level 3: Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 5 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD, Master+3 years' related work experience). In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.

Summary pay range:

Level 3: $97,750 - $132,250
