Job Description

WWC Global, an operating firm of Command Holdings, is currently seeking Combat Readiness Planners to support United States Indo-Pacific Command (USINDOPACOM). This position will support USINDOPACOM and its mission partners with the organizational resources necessary to identify, analyze, and eliminate capability gaps so that USINDOPACOM can maintain a competitive edge and meet the U.S. National Defense Strategy (NDS) and National Military Strategy (NMS) objectives.

The Combat Readiness Planner will support the development of Joint engineer support plans and annexes, provide technical analysis for contingency, crisis action, and current operations planning, analyze current Joint engineer capabilities and identify engineer force structure shortfalls. The planner will develop joint engineer support concepts and coordinates future force laydown across the Indo-Pacific theater for all supported components including Navy, Air Force, Marine Corps, Army, Missile Defense Agency (MDA), and other government organizations; Plans, synchronizes, and facilitates the U.S. Indo-Pacific Posture construction program to achieve Joint effects and timelines outlined in the Theater Posture Plan (TPP).

Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Provide analytical support to develop the Joint engineer force requirements to support the theater posture construction program, exercises, and contingency operations.
  • Provide analytical engineer assessments and recommendations for operational planning teams, crisis actions teams, and current operations activities.
  • Conduct analysis of force laydown concepts to identify facility and engineering requirements needed to meet Joint operations effects.
  • Analyze and provide recommendations to J44 senior leaders for the employment and conduct of engineering activities throughout the Indo-Pacific theater.
  • Develop Joint engineer support plans that are integrated with INDOPACOM family of plans (OPLANS, Theater Campaign Plan, Logistics Support Plan).
  • Develop processes and business rules to track and assess engineer operations and activities throughout the Indo-Pacific theater.

This position is contingent on contract modification and funding.

Expected salary range: $90,000 - $115,000

Work Environment:

  • Moderate noise (i.e. business office with computers, phone and printers) and /or occasional Loud noise (airfield, large equipment).
  • Ability to sit at a computer terminal for an extended period of time.

Physical Demands:

  • While performing the responsibilities of the job, the employee is required to sit, stand, talk, and hear.
  • Employee is often required to sit and use their hands and fingers to operate a computer.
  • Ability to drive a motor vehicle in environments including city, highway, and rural roads CONUS and OCONUS.

  • 11-20% / Occasional travel.

Requirements

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree AND 4 years of relevant experience //OR// 8 years of relevant experience with no degree.
  • Current, active Secret security clearance with the ability to obtain Top Secret with SCI eligibility.
  • 4-10 years of experience in combat readiness planning and coordinating military relationships with stakeholders.
  • Outstanding communication skills, influencing abilities, and client focus.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in using all Microsoft Office applications.
  • Professional proficiency in English is required.
  • Valid driver’s license (proof of which will be required after hire) and ability to qualify for and maintain company liability insurance through a clean driving record.
  • Must possess a valid unexpired U.S. Passport.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's Degree.
  • Current, active TS/SCI security clearance.
  • Direct experience developing Joint engineer support plans that are integrated with (OPLANS, Theater Campaign Plan, Logistics Support Plan).
  • Direct experience supporting the INDOPACOM area of operations.
  • Experience on a O-7+ level staff, Combatant or Functional Command headquarters, Joint Force Headquarters, Service Component, or Major Command Headquarters.
