Role Overview We are seeking an exceptional legal professional to join our team as Assistant Counsel. You will help build high-performing public reporting capabilities for our funds, with responsibilities including regulatory filings, compliance advice, policy development, and collaboration with various departments. Responsibilities Assist in preparing and reviewing regulatory filings for various funds and our RIA entity. Advise on securities laws compliance related to regulatory reporting. Develop and implement policies ensuring compliance with SEC, CFTC, NFA, NYSE, OTCQX, and other regulations. Prepare materials for Board of Directors and committees. Support fund administration, accounting, operations, and investor relations teams. Build strong relationships with key departments involved in reporting. Collaborate with Legal and Compliance team members. Manage projects proactively and keep managers informed. Assist with contract review. Qualifications Juris Doctor (JD) or equivalent law degree. Admission to a State Bar or equivalent qualification. At least 2 years of experience in public reporting, preferably at a top-tier law firm or in a capital markets or funds department. Strong project management skills. Excellent writing, multitasking, and independent work abilities. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, changing environment. Exceptional problem-solving, judgment, and communication skills. High energy, positive attitude, curiosity, and open-mindedness. Proactive, ownership-driven, and eager to learn about crypto. Low ego, high EQ, and a collaborative spirit.
